Welcome to Apuope (“Service”, “we”, “us”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Service Description
Apuope is an AI-assisted learning platform designed to help users study, revise, and practice educational materials.
Apuope does not provide formal education, tutoring, or guaranteed academic results.
2. User Accounts
- You must provide accurate account information.
- You are responsible for all activity under your account.
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
3. User Content & Copyright
Ownership
Users retain full ownership and copyright of all materials they upload (“User Content”), including notes, documents, images, PDFs, book excerpts, and answers.
Apuope does not claim ownership of User Content.
License to Operate the Service
By uploading User Content, you grant Apuope a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to:
- Store the content.
- Analyze it using AI.
- Generate learning tasks and study aids.
- Display results only to the same user.
This license exists solely to provide the Service and ends when the content is deleted or the account is closed, except where retention is required by law.
Copyrighted Materials
Users may upload copyrighted materials for personal study purposes only. Users confirm that they have the legal right to upload and use any materials they provide.
Apuope does not distribute, publish, or make User Content available to other users. Apuope acts solely as a private processing tool.
Responsibility
Users are responsible for ensuring that uploaded materials comply with applicable copyright laws. Apuope is not responsible for copyrighted materials uploaded without permission.
4. AI-Generated Content
Apuope uses artificial intelligence to generate study aids, summaries, questions, and learning tasks.
AI-generated output is transformative, may be incomplete or inaccurate, and is intended solely for private learning use.
Apuope does not guarantee correctness, grades, or academic outcomes.
5. AI Training Disclosure
Uploaded materials are not used to train artificial intelligence models.
Third-party AI services may process User Content temporarily to generate output. Such content is not retained or reused for model training.
6. Payments & Subscriptions
Payments are processed via third-party providers such as Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled.
7. Cancellation & Refunds
Users may cancel subscriptions at any time. Access continues until the end of the billing period. Refunds are governed by the Refund Policy.
8. Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided “as is”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apuope is not liable for indirect damages or academic outcomes.
9. Changes
We may update these Terms. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
